SCG is a welcoming, unique social group for 55+ singles (divorced, widowed, never married, or legally separated by exception).
Founded in 2023, SCG has grown into a private “by referral only” non-sectarian social group for previously married, financially stable seniors.
SCG has always been and will continue to be focused on helping 55+ singles build lasting friendships – not seeking to financially profit from the social needs of SCG Friends.
SCG Dinner (Small-Group as well as All-Group) events are generally held in Long Island New York, welcoming SCG Friends from across Long Island’s Nassau and Suffolk Counties, New York City boroughs, Northern New Jersey, Lower Westchester, and Connecticut.
Since inception, SCG social group prioritizes trust, safety, and a shared sense of purpose, one connection and one event at a time.
SCG All-Group Dinners feature our proprietary “modified speed dating” format, a relaxed, enjoyable way to meet others naturally. While SCG is not a dating club, participants frequently build new friendships with the potential for romance to emerge over time.
Our proven approach (rooted in Quality Connections LLC from over 20 years ago) seats 3–6 guests per table per dinner course, with rotations to different groups. The final seating is free choice, creating a low-pressure, welcoming environment for meaningful conversations.
SCG welcomes interest from 55+ singles who are divorced, widowed, never married, or (by exception) legally separated.
To help maintain our trusted, high-quality community, we especially value referrals from current members, friends, clergy, 55+ communities, bereavement groups, social committees, legal/tax advisors, and others.
The is no cost or obligation to discover SCG. Modest membership dues helps to cover website expenses and all proceeds collected for events goes directly to the hosting restaurant.
